Code of Conduct and Compliance Standards
All Mast factories are subject to compliance audits by Independent Production Services or a third party auditor annually. IPS is a global compliance unit of Limited Brands and is independent of Mast. IPS implements the company’s standards and compliance protocols.

The scope of compliance audit covers the following areas:

  • Trade compliance, including country of origin verification
  • Labor standards/workplace conditions
  • Supply chain security (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism)
  • Brand protection (counterfeiting and unauthorized sell-offs)

In addition, we always seek to understand and comply with any customer-specific compliance requirements.

Community Outreach
We’re passionate about winning, but know our success isn’t measured in profits alone. Our associates around the world volunteer thousands of hours to charities each year and have donated more than $1.2 million to Limited Brands/Mast Cares since 2005. We use this money to provide practical and compassionate support to women and children in need around the globe. Here are just a few of the things we’ve funded:

  • The purchase and delivery of shelter, mattresses and hygiene kits for families impacted by an earthquake in Indonesia.
  • The building of an emergency shelter for at-risk children in Israel.
  • Free medical, dental and optometric care to children and the elderly in Vietnam.
  • A program to provide clean water to communities in Sri Lanka.
  • The building of homes for orphaned children in Sri Lanka and ongoing support for the care of the girls and boys who live in them.

Environmental Stewardship
Mast continues to work with our vendors to take steps to protect the environment. MAST and our vendor partners continue to make progress in the areas of energy efficiency, responsible use of forest products, minimizing the environmental impacts of packaging, efficient transportation, and waste reduction and disposal. We have required suppliers, including mills, factories, and laundries, to meet local environmental requirements, including installation of water treatment systems where required.

We continue to make progress in reducing packaging weight, optimizing shipments and reusing materials. We also work to leverage rail transportation to reduce the use of trucks, thus reducing fuel usage and greenhouse gas emissions.

Everyday we are working with customers and suppliers to understand our environmental impact, as well as risk and opportunities in the areas of raw materials, manufacturing, logistics, and retail operations. Part of this evaluation is understanding the total impact of these operations and working with vendors and partners to reduce environmental impacts.
